I have been involved in many different aspects of performance throughout my history… From playing in Live Bands to being a Disc Jockey and even Event Design, I have been able to take my career to the next level! Seeing my clients smile, laugh, dance and celebrate is one of my favorite things!”

What would be the most memorable moment of your DJ career?
Early in my career I remember the first time a couple came up to me after their wedding and told me how much everyone loved the music and the energy of the day! They told me their day was perfect! I was thrilled, and knew right then DJing would be a major part of my life!

Why did you choose to DJ Weddings?
Weddings are one of the most dynamic events we play for! It’s always different, and constantly moving! I have the ability to perform in so many different venues and work with so many incredible couples! I love being able to get people up and onto the dance floor while having the ability to be the Master of Ceremonies, plus mixing great music!

What would be the most memorable moment of your DJ career?

What is your fav song to pack the floor?
I have many different songs I love to use! It always depends on the crowd in front of me, then choosing the right songs for them. From Rockin’ Robin to No Digitty to Don’t Stop Believing (I have an amazing re-mix) and even Shut up and Dance… It’s always about the energy I feel from the crowd!

What do you like about 617?
When I came on board with 617 I immediately felt at home! Everyone was super friendly and supportive! It’s an amazingly talented group of professionals that feels like a family!

Bill started his music career as a live performer, and has been involved in the music industry for over 20 years.  Playing and working with bands early in his career, he has a well-rounded knowledge of music and entertainment.  His style and experience make him one of the most experienced entertainers in the industry.  Bill loves to work with his clients to create the perfect event, with energy, style and the perfect mix of music.

He loves to create energy, and has continued within the music industry, performing for thousands of clients, corporations and also teaching and sharing his experience with peers at many of the national trade shows, and professional seminars.

Bill has developed a style that brings energy, fun and excitement to his clients, while listening to all of their thoughts and ideas as they plan events together. He is dedicated, energetic, and always put clients first.

Bill is also an A/V specialist with many years of event design and production. He has created both small and large-scale A/V, Lighting, Sound and Design Productions, for many different types of corporate, festivals, trade shows and personal events. He loves to design and amaze his clients with lighting, sound and décor that take events to the next level.

Bill has served on the executive board of the National Association of Catering and Events – Boston, The executive board of the Massachusetts Chapter of the American DJ association, and has won many awards in the event industry.

He loves family, friends and spending time in the mountains and outdoors.  His true passion is bringing client’s visions to reality through entertainment, event design and performance.

We had the most fun wedding with DJ Billy D from 617 Weddings!! Bill was so communcative and so much fun to plan with and talk to in all of our meetings leading up to the wedding! On our wedding day, he hosted the most amazing party we've ever attended, and all of our guests said the same! He took all of our requests and also played the best music that kept everyone on the dance floor the ENTIRE time! Even guests who usually don't dance were up and dancing, it was a blast! DJ Bill knew the Lenox Hotel (our venue) so well and so was able to lead the whole day perfectly!! It was just an absolute dream!! Thank you for everything DJ Billy!!! We'll remember this night always as the best night ever!

We hired 617 Weddings to DJ and also to Photograph our Wedding. The DJ, Bill, kept people dancing all night long and was very nice and professional to work with. DJ Bill was flexible when we had to readjust the timing of things due to a minor incident and line up for the big entrance to the reception! Loved it and had a lifetime of memories from the night!
