Why did you choose to DJ Weddings?

I love being able to feed off the energy, excitement and love in the room at a wedding to deliver a truly unique experience for every single couple that I work with.

What would be the most memorable moment of your DJ career?

My most memorable moment of my DJ Career actually doesn’t involve me Djing. It was seeing DJ AM play live. It always kept me practicing the craft and always progressing to the next level.

What is your fav song to pack the floor?

Tough one, depends on the crowd. I figure it out 10 seconds before it happens 🙂

What do you like about 617?

I like being able to be paired with so many different types of people with different backgrounds across New England. The best part about it is that no matter what the background is, everyone has a common goal of looking for great music for their wedding. They came to the right place.

One of the best decisions my husband and I made when planning our wedding was hiring DJ Dimitri Soteropoulos from 617 Weddings to DJ. We needed a DJ that could play a mix of both Greek and American music and he nailed it. He played the perfect amount of Greek and American songs and made sure all of our family and friends enjoyed themselves. The best part about our reception was the wedding party entrances. DJ Dimitri had everyone out of their seats and gathered around the dance floor for all of our entrances. It was like we were walking into one huge party with all of our family and friends dancing and screaming and jumping up and down around us. Once we got to the dance floor, DJ Dimitri had everyone join us dancing for the rest of the song and everyone at the wedding just stormed the dance floor - talk about a way to start a party, it set the tone for the entire night. It was amazing and something we will never forget! Once we got to the reception he took control of the whole night so that we didn't even have to think or worry about what to do next. Dimitri was also extremely organized, professional, and just plain awesome at his job. He was so easy to work with too. And I think everyone knows that a DJ can make or break a wedding, well this one will absolutely MAKE it. If you want to have the best night of your life and not have to worry about a thing, then I'd highly recommend Dimitri! We can't thank you enough Dimitri!!

Our wedding was 11/16/19 at Cruiseport Gloucester. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. Our DJ, Dimitri Soteropoulos, was hands down amazing! Our ceremony music transitioned perfectly and every guest was on the floor dancing all night! The only complaint we heard was how sore they were from dancing so much!! Dimitri was so easy to work with and responded to every email quickly. He was great with our wedding party which consisted of our 7 kids combined! We couldn’t be happier!!!

Dimitri Soteropoulos DJ’d our wedding and was absolutely phenomenal. He got our guests pumped up and dancing the whole night! The music selection was perfect and he coordinated everything with no issues, I didn’t have to worry about a thing. We believe he is the best DJ around and countless guests told us he was the best DJ they have ever seen at a wedding. I 100% recommend him!

We just had our September wedding at the Briar Barn Inn and Dimitri was our DJ - he was incredible! I have so many guests telling me how great the music was and how good of a time they had - I don’t think anyone sat down for the entire night. He was so easy to work with, EXTREMELY helpful through the entire process (from planning the day to actually making sure everything went smoothly the day of) and even helped me surprise my husband with a speech recorded by his good friend who is deployed. I would recommend Dimitri to absolutely everyone!
