Why did you choose to DJ Weddings?

Why else, but the free food?! Just playing, I never thought I would be DJing weddings when pursuing a career as a DJ,  but after a few weddings they have really changed me. Basically I am in front of people who do not know me and I am a part of their big day which is very intimate, so intimate that they carefully select who they want to attend and I’m right there front and center. I don’t take that for granted. I love it when I am able to connect. In a world where we are so disconnected it is an amazing feeling to know that I can connect with them instantly. To see families come together, sing together, dance together and to know that I made that happen with music is a feeling that only a DJ would understand. 

What would be the most memorable moment of your DJ career?

The moment one of my brides at the end of the night grabbed the microphone and said “ Give it up for my mother beeping DJ!!” And everyone went nuts. 

What is your fav song to pack the floor?

Depends on the crowd but one of my favorites is either Danza Kuduro the hype remix, mi gente cedric gervais remix or time of our lives segway into hotel room service.

Juan was the BEST Wedding DJ!!!! It has been a week since my wedding and people are still talking about how much they danced and how incredible the music and vibe was the whole night! DJ JC from 617 Weddings DJ'd my wedding this Saturday 6/11/22 at the Warren Conference Center and he absolutely knocked it out of the park! His song selection had everyone on the dance floor all night and he couldn't have been more pleasant to work with. I received loads of compliments from the guests who attended the wedding also. I don't think I stopped dancing once! I highly recommend 617 Weddings and specifically JC to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding!

We choose DJ Castaneda for our wedding after speaking to several entertainment companies and we could not have been happier!!! He had our wedding rocking the whole night! I am Dominican and my wife is Itailian/Irish so as you can tell we had a very mixed crowd and he played music that appealed to everyone. He was able to play all kinds of music to keep the young and older crowd on the dance floor the whole night even on a Sunday. We also choose to use his up lighting package which looked great at our location (Saphire Estate) and it looked amazing highly recommend the up-lighting. Over all I would recommend 617 weddings to any of my friends and family. We received compliments from our guest about the excellent job DJ Castaneda did and how much fun he was! He would interact with the crowd and get on the dance floor with us. He has great ideas for centerpiece give always to break the ice. We had so much fun with him!

We used 617 Weddings for our wedding at the Break Away venue (club room) in Danvers, MA. My package included the DJ, photo booth and uplighting. The uplighting totally made the venue look gorgeous and complete. We worked with DJ JC Castaneda. He was absolutely amazing. From the first phone conversation he had won me over and I knew I could count on him to make our wedding run smoothly. He exceeded our expectations and did a fantastic job from beginning to end. Everyone danced all night long and that is exactly what wanted... to party for hours. We can't thank him enough for such a wonderful night along with the photo booth staff attendant. Where do I even begin!!! I got married this weekend and our amazing DJ JC Castaneda was hands down the most incredible DJ we could have ever asked for. People didn't even sit down to eat dinner because they wanted to dance so bad and that dance floor wasn't empty for one second the entire night!!!!! I can't thank him enough!! That doesn't even include all the fun we had with the open air photo booth -greatest idea so your guests aren't leaving the dance floor- and our beautiful uplighting also provided by 617 Weddings!!!!
